Ethiopia, birthplace of coffee! You could only expect the best from the country that owns coffee as its native plant. Yirgacheffe has been voted number one coffee in the world more than once…..and for good reason.

Most coffees from Yirgacheffe are washed coffees. Some dry process coffees come out of this region of Ethiopia, but the market preference is definitely based around the washed coffees the region produces.

I prefer a light to medium roast of Yirgacheffe. This preserves the natural sweetness and citrus nuances that many have come to love about this coffee.
