The 9th Annual Roasters Guild Retreat

Well, unfortunately I didn’t make it again this year, but it sounds like the 9th annual Roasters Guild Retreat at Skamania Lodge in Stevenson Washington went off just fine once again.  Put on by the Specialty Coffee Association of America and the Roasters Guild along with countless sponsors, the retreat is an event which allows coffee roasters from all over the world to come together in a forum that allows open discussion and tons of learning for all!

From what I have read and hear from fellow roasters, the location of the retreat this year was stunning.  Located in the west coast rocky mountains,  something that simply can’t be beat!

Sponsors of this years retreat included Ambex, Diedrich, Probat, Espresso Supply, Atlas Coffee Importers, Coffee Talk, Coffee Bean International and many many others.  The success of these events comes from the sponsors.  Without their help, the events simply could not go on.
